Devonport High School for Girls is a highly successful and oversubscribed 11-18 selective grammar school with approximately 850 students on roll.
We are seeking to appoint a ‘Student Information Officer – Attendance’ with excellent communications skills to provide comprehensive administrative support relating to student attendance and the production of data reports. The successful candidate will be part of a busy administrative team and also work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Applicants should have ICT experience in the use of Excel and Word, the ability to analyse data in various formats and a minimum of one year’s experience working in an administrative role. The ability to communicate effectively is essential to the role. Experience of working in an educational environment and knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.
The role is for 32.5 hours per week for 40 weeks per year (one week to be worked during the summer holidays around the publication of examination results). The salary is Grade C, Points 14 - 18 (£17,681 - £18,870, actual salary £13,641 - £14,558).
