Well done to the netballers in Year 7, 8, 9, 10/11 who took a clean sweep at the PSSP End of Season Netball Tournaments over the last four weeks. As a school, we are incredibly proud of their achievements, many thanks to all the parents and carers who came along to support their daughters. Across the board, the standard of netball was outstanding.
Congratulations to the Year 7 Netball team who followed in the footsteps of the Year 8's, 9's & 10/11's, by winning the Plymouth Schools Sports Partnerships End of Season Netball Tournament at Hele's. The girls showed great resilience, determination and team spirit to come back from a defeat to Plymstock and a draw with Plymouth High in the group stage. Following wins against Hele's and Coombe Dean, the girls made it through to the semi-finals where they beat a very strong Stoke Damerel team. The final saw the girls come up against Plymstock again, they really did leave the best performance of the day to the last game, beating an outstanding Plymstock team 5-1. Well done to the Year 7 Netball on a fantastic season and a massive thank you to all the parents who were there to support the school.

U15's Girls Volleyball
Freya y10 recently travelled to Leicester with the South West U15's Girls Volleyball team. They played in the National Inter-Regional Tournament against some very strong teams from across the UK. Freya played as the team setter, effectively distributing, and setting for 13 matches. Congratulations Freya, an amazing achievement.

DHSG students Amy, Daisy, Natasha, and Amelie had an awesome trip with dance studio, 'The Groovement Project Dance Company' to Los Angeles. They stayed in Hollywood for 10 days over the Easter break, visiting a couple of different dance studios in the area and taking classes with well-known, top choreographers. The pinnacle of the trip was performing at Universal Studios, Hollywood, and Disneyland, Los Angeles.
They had an amazing time and learned so much from all the choreographers. They wanted to thank everyone who donated money at the bake sale as this money helped support them to attend two dance workshops whilst they were there.
