This coming Academic year starting in September 2017, all subjects have been fully reformed into the new linear two-year course. For all subjects students will be enrolled on a two year linear course where all formal examination will take place at the end of Year 13. Students will choose three or four subjects at the start of Year 12, and will follow them through to the end of Year 13. If taking four subjects, students will have the option of taking one of their subjects as an AS Level at the end of Year 12, focusing on their core three subjects in Year 13. Additionally, students may well be referred to the AS examination in a certain subject if in the opinion of their subject teacher and Head of Department, the two year version of the course is not suitable. As ever, progress will be carefully monitored and assessed throughout this period, and our students will continue to enjoy the depth of study that A Level offers with the same choice of courses.
