|Resources and Services
We have more than 9000 resources arranged into two sections: Fiction - a variety of popular and classic novels suitable for Year 7 to 13 students arranged alphabetically. Non-Fiction - books and reference material selected to support the curriculum arranged in Dewey Decimal order.
The Library subscribes to a variety of subject specialist and general interest magazines ranging from New Scientist, English Review and First News to the Good Food Magazine. Daily newspapers include The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent and the local Herald.
We have 11 computers available for use by classes for research purposes or for individual study use by students.
Colourful displays on a range of reading and topical issues are regularly updated to encourage student interest. We also hold craft making sessions throughout the year and fun competitions for World Book Day.
A printer and scanner are available in the Library and for a small charge the photocopier can be used. The Library also runs a Stationery shop which sells reasonably priced stationery to students.
